As we celebrate the first Sunday of Season of Creation, we will be exploring the 2026 Season of Creation theme, "Living Waters" with Rev Garry Dodd, the chaplain to the Mission to Seafarers in Newcastle.
Garry will be preaching at both services on 6 September.
The 9:30am service will be at St John's as usual.
The 5pm service will be at the Mission to Seafarers in Wickham, followed by a shared meal.
The Port of Newcastle receives ships from around the world. Many seafarers spend long periods away from their homes and families doing dangerous and difficult work, and the Mission to Seafarers provides essential services and connection to those who work upon them.
