Teens and Young Adults
We have a great range of activities for teens and young adults as part of our weekly church life.
Youth Group | Monday
The Youth Group at St John’s, known as ‘Tribute’, is an exciting part of our week. It all happens on Monday night, beginning at 5:30pm with an optional bible study. The fun continues at 6pm with games and activities, including theme nights such as Masterchef night, beach excursions, death by chocolate, sports nights, and movie nights. read more
Nite Lite | Monday
Nite Lite is all about “Life, Love, and the whole God thing.” A discussion group for teenagers in Years 9-12, Nite Lite provides an opportunity to discuss faith and contemporary Christian issues in a safe, non-judgmental environment. read more
Nite Life
Nite Life is a multimedia-based discussion group and bible study for university students and young adults aged 18-30+years. Meeting in the church every Tuesday night at 7:30pm, this group has lively and spirited discussions about current events, theology, and the intersection of faith and daily life, centred around food and fellowship with each other.
Young Adults Bible Study
This bible study meets each week in New Lambton on Wednesdays from 7:30pm for young adults aged 25-40ish years. Recent topics of study have included a detailed Old Testament survey, a study on world religions, and analysis of spiritual disciplines in contemporary life.
