Hi everyone,

Rob here. As you all know Murray is away on some well-earned leave. Please be praying for Murray, Bridie, Toby and Harry that they get some good rest and quality time together. Even though Murray and crew are away we that doesn’t mean that life is grinding to a halt here at St John’s. No, we are cracking along with an epic few weeks. It also means that we have a few changes and adjustments that need to go on.

Primarily If you need anything please contact Ken Youman or me and we will do our best to sort through what you need. Ken can be reached on the Church phone or you can reach me at the contact details below.

God Bless

Welcome Rev. Daniel Connor

We want to take a moment to welcome Rev. Daniel Connor, Senior State Chaplain to the NSW Police Force who will be taking over the 9 am and 10:45 am services with With Murray being away. As Snr. State Chaplain Rev. Daniel is responsible for the pastoral and spiritual welfare of the NSW police force, which with what they deal with on a daily basis is a critical and valuable job. I am excited to have Rev. Daniel coming along to lead our worship and open God’s word for us.

5pm Service Messy Prayer and Pizza

This week would normally be Messy Church but with the public holiday, there are not enough people able to run tables. As such we have decided to run with a Pizza and Prayer night. Come along and join us for some great homemade pizza and some organised prayer and worship.

Our Wednesday Bible Study is off for the next few weeks and will be recommencing on Oct. 11th. Contact Ken Youman for more details.

School Holiday Club – 3–6 October 2017

Our fantastic school holiday club is back for 2017. It runs from Tuesday 3 October to Friday 6 October 2017 – week 2 of the school holidays.

We are continuing to the next stage of the “Guardians of Ancora” theme that we began last year and we’re mixing in a combination of art and adventure as well.
